Jaconet

Description
A lightweight, sheer cotton fabric with a plain weave that was originally made in India. Jaconet is often finished with a light glaze on one side making it similar to cambric, fabric lawn, organdy, or fabric voile. It is used to make summer clothing, curtains, and bandages. Glazed jaconet has been used as a reinforcing material in book spines.
