Buttonlac

Description
Dark red, translucent buttons of unbleached shellac. Buttonlac is prepared by dropping spoonfuls of molten lac onto a flat surface or into a mold. The cooled buttons, ranging in size from 1 to 4 inches, are also called garnet lac.
