Description

1) A commercial green colorant that is usually prepared by mixing yellow cadmium yellow with chromium oxide (viridian).

2) An alternative combination green color sold under this name in Britain contained a mixture of cadmium yellow and green phthalocyanine green. In the United States, this mixture was sold under the name permanent green.
