Forced ventilation

Description
An interior air circulation system in which fans are used to blow air through selected spaces via a system of ducts and vents. A forced air circulation system was first introduced by Desaguliers in the British House of Parliaments in 1736, however it was not commonly used until 1880 (Bucher 1996).
