Dolomitic limestone

Description

A limestone that contains 10 % to 49 % of the mineral dolomite. Dolomitic limestone is different than calcitic limestone in that it dissolves very slowly in dilute acid solutions rather than quickly. It also has slightly greater compression and tensile strength.
