Leucocratic rock
Description
Igneous rock containing 65 to 95% of Felsic minerals, such as feldspathoids (Nepheline and Leucite), Muscovite, and Corundum. Because felsic minerals lack iron and magnesium, they are generally light in color and consequently are referred to as leucocratic.
