Polyvinyl butyral

Description

A thermoplastic resin made by the condensation of polyvinyl alcohol with butyraldehyde. Polyvinyl butyral is a colorless, flexible tough solid. It is used in sheet form as the center adhesive layer in safety glass. It is also used to waterproof textiles. Polyvinyl butyral is weather resistant
