Description
A colorless liquid with a sweet ketone-like odor. Methyl butyl ketone is used as a solvent for lacquer and plastics as well as a component in paint and varnish removers.

Hazards and Safety
Flammable. Flash point = 23C Moderate fire risk. Inhalation, ingestion and skin absorption causes irritation. Narcotic effects at high concentrations. May be toxic.
