Description

[Conservation Resources International] A brand name for a paper laminate used for interleaving silver pieces and photographs. Silversafe has one layer of 100% cotton fiber paper (pH = 7) attached to a layer of MicroChamber® paper that contains zeolites and alkaline buffers (pH = 8.5). The cotton surface is nonabrasive. The MicroChamber® surface acts to absorb and neutralize airborne pollutants.
