Description
[ALCOA, Pittsburgh PA] A company name and registered trademark for its line of aluminum products. Started in 1907, the Aluminum Company of America, changed their name to ALCOA, in 1999. The term ALCOA had been used since 1910 for their manufactured aluminum products. These included sheet, wire tubing, castings, powder, foil, extrusion, collapsible tubes, closures, etc.
