Terebinth

Description

A small cashew tree, Pistacia terebinthus, native to southern Europe and the Mediterranean region. Terebinth trees are used in the production of tannins and Chian turpentine. Chian turpentine is an oleoresinous exudation that has been used in varnish recipes.
