Dichlorotetrafluoroethane
Description
A colorless, noncorrosive, and nonflammable gas used as a solvent and fire supressant. Dichlorotetrafluoroethane was formerly used as an air conditioner fluid and a refrigerant. Its use was banned in the late 20th century because of damage to atmospheric Ozone.

Hazards and Safety
Overexposure of gas may cause dizziness, convulsions, coma and cardiac arrest due to ashpyxiation. Liquid may cause frostbite or burns.
