Parylene
Description
The generic name for a series of polymers based on paraxylylenes. Parylene is unique in that it can be vapor polymerized to form a thin continuous coating on a surface. Parylene adds mechanical strength and flexibility to the coated material. Parylene coating is irreversible and it is not light fast.
