Quicksilver Cleaning Plate

Description

A registered trademark for a cleaning solution for silver sterling silver and silver plate. Quicksilver is a perforated sheet of a conductive metal alloy that creates a low intensity magnetic field. When the Quicksilver cleaning plate is placed in an ionic aqueous solution with the silver object, sulfide silver sulfide tarnish is ionized and dissolved within seconds. An activator (such as bicarbonate baking soda) provides the dilute ionic solution.
