Pacific Silvercloth
Description
[Pacific] A registered trademark for a silver antitarnish storage fabric. Pacific Silvercloth® is a dark-color Cotton flannel embedded with tiny sacrificial Silver particles. As a covering for silver objects, the Pacific Silvercloth® provides protection from sulfur-containing pollutants, dust, and scratches. The cloth may be used to make bags or line trays for storage of silver and silver alloys (Arenstein et al. 2019).

Laundering reduces effectiveness.
Forms/Sizes
Silvercloth is about 38" wide and is always brown as the silver embedded in the fabric will tarnish slightly, causing the fabric to change to various hues of brown over the years.
