Haarlem blue

Description

A mixture of blue Prussian blue with extenders. Haarlem blue is more commonly called Antwerp blue. The extenders were alumina, magnesia, and/or oxide zinc oxide. Other colors called Haarlem ultramarine and Haarlem ashes are manufactured blues and may be of the same composition.
