Danby marble

Description
A slightly translucent, cream colored marble with pale greenish gray streaks quarried in the vicinity of Danby in Rutland County, Vermont (Bucher 1996). It polishes medium well. Danby marble, also known as Mountain White, was extensively used for buildings.
