Description

A simple, nonwoven lace currently produced by chemical methods. Artificial lace has been prepared in several ways. An old, rarely used method prepared the lace using an engraved cylinder to stamp a pattern from a thin layer of cellulose paste. Modern methods use chemicals to dissolve cellulose regenerated cotton fibers from a fiber polyester matrix.
