Monofilament

Description

A single, continuous strand of glass or synthetic fiber that is heavy enough to be used alone as yarn. Monofilaments may be spun individually or prepared by extrusion through a spinneret. Monofilaments may be used for textiles or as fishing line, hosiery or bristles.
