Strap leather

Description
A strong, heavyweight leather made from vegetable tanned cowhide. Strap leather is thick (2-5 mm) and is used for industrial belts and upholstery straps. A thinner, trimmed versions, sometimes called vachette leather, is about 2 mm thick. It has been used for carriage covers, upholstery, harnesses and bridles.
