Description

A low-melting, metallic alloy used to join two pieces of metal. Solder joints are not as strong as welding joints. solder Soft, or lead-tin, solders are commonly used for plumbing joints and electrical connections. High temperature, or solder hard, solders, are used for joining silver, aluminum, and gold.
