Crystalline

Description

A solid material with a well-defined, regular arrangement of atoms ions or molecules. Minerals as well as some polymers and cellulosic material can be crystalline. Crystalline materials will produce a characteristic x-ray diffraction pattern that relates to the spatial positions of the molecules.
