Ceylon graphite

Description
A silvery black graphite obtained from Sri Lanka. In order to reduce its metallic luster, Ceylon graphite was prepared for use as a pigments black pigment by forming a paste with lampblack, vinegar, and (oil) turpentine (Schur 1985).
