Veneer

Description
A thin, decorative facing glued to the surface of an inferior base material. Wood veneer panels are generally made from mahogany, oak, walnut, or wood cedar. The panels are about 2-3 mm thick. The term veneer is also used for thin facings made from brick, stone, and plaster.
