Basket weave

Description

A weave plain weave fabric structure in which two or more threads are alternatively interlaced with an equal number of filling threads. Basket weave produces a decorative, checkered pattern that resembles a basket. It is a loose weave that stretches easily. Examples of fabrics with a basket weave are cloth Monk's cloth and cloth Oxford suiting.
