Peacock blue

Description
A bright blue-green organic colorant often used in inks. Peacock blue is the lake of acid glaucine blue dye prepared on alumina trihydrate. Pigment Blue 24 is used for printing inks and as a colorant in rubber, plastics, and artist colors. Other bright blue green colorants are occasionally sold under the same name. These dyes may or may not be permanent and the label should be checked.
