Flame detector

Description

An automatic fire detection device that contains an optical sensor system. This line-of-sight system detects the presence of any infrared emitting source, such as flames or embers. A flame detector is the least commonly used of three types of fire detection devices; the other types are smoke detectors and heat detectors.
