Scottish Society for Conservation and Restoration

The Scottish Society for Conservation and Restoration (SSCR) "is an independent organisation promoting the conservation and restoration of Scotland's historic, scientific and artistic materials. SSCR maintains and improves standards by providing a forum for all those concerned with these objectives. SSCR draws its members from all areas of conservation, in both public and private sectors, as well as those working in related fields and those with no professional interest, but who see merit in furthering the aims of the Society. This diversity of membership fosters cross-disciplinary exchange and ensures that SSCR maintains a focus on current concerns." (from website)
