Textile Conservation Center

"The Textile Conservation Center (TCC), founded in 1977, is a non-profit regional conservation center and department of the American Textile History Museum. The primary aim of the TCC is the long-term care and preservation of textiles. ... The TCC examines and treats textile objects in a newly designed 6,000 square-foot laboratory. The Center has the resources and specialized equipment to provide chemical, physical, and microscopic analysis; aqueous or solvent cleaning; custom dyeing; photographic documentation; and insect eradication."
