Description
[Arakawa Chemical, Japan] A brand name for a low molecular weight resin developed for use as a tackifier. Arkon P-90 is a saturated alicyclic hydrocarbon with an average molecular weight of 630. It forms a colorless, high gloss film. It is resistant to weathering and heat but does oxidize and become less soluble with time (van Vooren 1998).
Other Properties
Soluble in petroleum hydrocarbons and turpentine. Insoluble in water, ethanol, acetone.
