Beckmann mixture

Description
A strongly oxidizing chromic acid solution used for many years to remove all traces of organic residues from laboratory glassware. Beckmann mixture is made with 60 parts potassium dichromate, 80 parts concentrated sulfuric acid, and 270 parts water.
