Buena Vista sandstone

Description
A uniform gray or buff, quartzose, fine-grain sandstone quarried near Buena Vista in Fayette County, Ohio. Buena Vista sandstone was used for building construction in Cleveland in the mid-1800s (Hannibal, 1995).
