Description
The temperature at which a solution becomes turbid as it is cooled at a specified rate. Some solutions contain components that separate or solidify when the temperature decreases, such as waxes or emulsifying agents. Nonionic detergents, oils, petroleum and lacquers are particularly susceptible to clouding at low temperatures.
