Creep

Description
The gradual, permanent deformation of a solid material under a continuous load. Generally, amorphous materials, such as glass, adhesives, coating, metals are subject to creep. Creep occurring at room temperature is called cold flow (ASTM D907). Creep of metals generally occurs at high temperatures.
