Glassine tape
Revision as of 06:05, 24 July 2013 by (username removed)
Description
Thin strips of glassine paper coated on one side with a water-soluble adhesive, such as gum arabic. Although glassine tape has been used as hinges and to repair torn papers and book leaves in the past, it is no longer in use because of its tendency to turn yellow and acidic with age.
