Nylon size

Description

A solution of soluble nylon that was used to size weak paper and fix soluble colors and inks prior to treatment (Roberts and Etherington 1982). Nylon size was typically prepared as a 2% solution of soluble nylon pellets dissolved in denatured alcohol.
