Description

An imitation vegetable parchment. Papyrine is made by dipping unsized cellulose paper in a strong sulfuric acid solution for less than a minute. The paper is then neutralized by placing it is an ammonium hydroxide solution. The procedure forms a stiff, semitransparent paper.
