Perinone dye

Description
A small group of synthetic organic vat dyes developed in the 1920s. Perinone orange and perionone red have been laked for use as artists pigments since the 1960s. The colors have good lightfastness in water color paints. They have also been stained onto aluminum flakes to form copper metallic paint.
