Description
[Perma-Stone Company, Ohio] A brand name for a cast stone veneer that imitates ashlar cut dimension stones with mortar joints. First made in 1929, Perma-Stone is compose of portland cement, aggregate, crushed quartz , mineral colors and metallic hardeners. It was popularly used for remodeling and renovation projects. Perma-Stone was mixed at the construction site then applied directly to the building in a process similar to that of stucco. While wet, pressure molds were applied to the surface to imitate the look of natural stone.
