Plate paper

Description
A soft, smooth absorbent paper used for engraving and intaglio printing. Plate paper made in the 18th century was generally soft-sized while plate paper made in the 19th century was unsized (AIC Book and Paper Catalog). It has a high content of linters and does not contain any fillers.
