Description
Orange or red crystalline mass. Potassium sulfide has been used for staining and coloring bronze and other metals. It is also used as a photographic toner.

Other Properties
Soluble in water, ethanol, glycerol. Insoluble in ether. Aqueous solutions are alkaline. Deliquescent in air; darkens with age.
