Description

[Hagerty] A commercial cleaning formulation used for removing tarnish and corrosion from silver, copper alloys, and rusted iron. Silver Dip contains: 8 ml of 85% orthophosphoric acid 7 grams of thiourea 0.2 milliliter of a wetting agent (e.g. Kodak® Photoflo) mixed and diluted to 100 milliliters with water (from Organ 1976).

Hazards and Safety

Thiourea is carcinogenic. Corrosive. Skin contact will cause burns.
