Sulfate pulp

Description

A chemically prepared wood pulp made by processing wood chips in a strongly alkaline solution containing sodium sulfide and sodium sulfate. Sulfate pulp, or kraft pulp, produces strong papers that are used in tagboard and kraft paper.
