Ultrasonic bonding

Description

A bonding method using acoustic vibrations to create friction-induced heat. Low energy ultrasonic bonding generates enough heat to seal the end of polyester encapsulation envelopes. High intensity ultrasonic vibrations are used to weld metals by breaking up surface oxide films.
