Description
Any of several types of ornamental, early-blooming, annual plants of the Narcissus genus, such as the yellow daffodil (Narcissus pseudonarcissus), and the jonquil (Narcissus jonquilla). Narcissus plants were used in Asia to produce a yellow dyes from the orange stamens or the ground bulbs.
