Zinc glass

Description

A lime soda type glass in which the calcium is partially replaced by crushed zincite (zinc oxide). The zinc ore granules usually have a deep-red to orange color, but may be blue, yellow or green depending on the trace minerals. It produces a fluorescent glass.
