CRCC (formerly CRCDG)
Centre de Recherches sur la Conservation des Collections (Research Centre on the Conservation of Collections)
The Centre de recherches sur la conservation des documents graphiques (CRCDG) was a research centre established in 1963 for the preservation of graphic and photographic documents run jointly by the French Ministry of Culture, the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and the French National Museum of Natural History. Over the years, the laboratory's mandate has expanded to perform research into the degradation and preservation of paper, leather, parchment, photographic documents, films, digital devices and natural history collections. In reflection of this broad material coverage, the lab name was recently changed to Centre de recherche sur la conservation des collections (CRCC).
