Description
An unpleasant smelling volatile material used as a vapor phase neutralizing agent. Cyclohexylamine carbonate (CHC) was placed in sachets and interleaving tissues. Although it effectively provides a buffer to volatile acids, CHC leaves no alkaline reserve. CHC may also act as a corrosion inhibitor.

Suspected carcinogen. May cause liver and kidney damage.
