Hue

Description

The perceived color of an object. Hue is determined by the wavelength distribution of radiation emitted from a surface. The radiant energy is processed by the human eye and perceived as a color, i.e., red, blue, yellow, etc. Hue is one of the three coordinates used in the Munsell system of color notation. In the Munsell color system there are ten major divisions of hue: R-Red; BG-BlueGreen; YR-Yellow; Red B-Blue; Y-Yellow PB-Purble Blue; GY-GreenYellow P-Purple; G-Green; RP-RedPurple
