Description

A white powder that is used commercially in photoconductive infrared detectors.

Other Properties

Insoluble in water.  Soluble in nitric and hydrochloric acids.

Composition PbSO3

Hazards and Safety

Toxic by ingestion and inhalation.  Decomposes with heat.
